Jesus is My Identity

When we are filled with the Holy Ghost, and baptised in Jesus name, when we are save we take on Jesus name.  We are adopted into his kingdom and his name becomes our own. I painted this picture with many finger prints to show that there are many who need Jesus in their life and the giant fingerprint shows within the print the words Jesus is my identity showing that I am no longer my own but that I belong to Jesus.

While You Were Sleeping- Casting Crowns

The Unwanted Christmas Tree

I was walking home from school when I saw a Christmas tree laying on the curb.  I almost walked past when I noticed a brown cardboard sign right beside it.  Immediately I thought that's strange normally a person would throwout a tree after Christmas not before?  That's when I decided to get a closer look I walked around the tree and looked at the sign which read free tree.  Then I looked up to see a tree in the person's window that was bigger and more grand then this full of beautiful decorations.  Then I looked at this one it was nice and average, it was smaller then the other tree.  I started to think about how excited my two youngest siblings would be if I brought a real tree home I almost took it home, when I realized I should call my mom first so she would not get mad.  So I called her and can you guess what her answer was? It was no because we simply have no room to put it.  I started to walk the rest of the way home and for some strange reason I just could not get that tree out of my head.  Then I started thinking about the first Christmas and how their was no room for our Savior Christ Jesus.  Not in the inn (Luke 2:7), not even in his adult life (Matthew 8:20) and sadly in the place of allot of persons hearts not even now.  There is simply no room.  Where does that leave you do you have room for Jesus in your life?
  • Luke 2:7

King James Version (KJV)

7And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

  • Matthew 8:20

King James Version (KJV)

20And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Broken on The Inside

In the darkness of the world. You must be broken on the inside to show God's light.
Many people see a broken spirit as weakness while God sees it as an opportunity to give comfort to you and also to grow in faith.  It is easy to praise God when times are easy, but it shows much faith and love to praise God when times are hard.  When your broken God's light shines so much brighter when you follow him when the things in this life seem to be at there darkest.

Psalm 51

1Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

Excepting God's Love

I have wrote about love allot. So you're probably wondering why is this blogger writing on it again? I have always prayed about topics before I introduce them. I know theres peace, joy, patience many different topics to write about but at the heart of all the topics I've studied it all comes back to love. Not just any love but God's love for you and me. This video at the end of it has a question on it that says will you accept God's love?  The question I'm now asking is will you and do you know how?  Many people say to except God is enough, but is it how do we except God's LOVE?

In John 14:6 it says "6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

So the only way is through Jesus Christ, but how do we receive this gift of salvation?

In the book of Acts a crowd asks Peter  "...what shall we do?" about this same matter and this is the reply "...Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2: 37-38)
So now your most likely wondering what does the word repent mean?

Repent means  to turn completely around. In other words ask God to forgive you and turn completely away from sin.

Have you been Baptized? In whose name by reading this verse you must be baptized in Jesus name.
No other name or titles are right.  Now the word baptism comes from a Greek word baptizmo which means full submersion, otherwise buried. In Colossians 2:12 "Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead." So if you have been baptized at one point and it has not been according to scripture be sure to.

What is the Holy Ghost?  The Holy Ghost is a comforter and the Spirit Jesus said in John 3 that without one cannot enter the kingdom of God. How do you know if you've been filled with the Holy Ghost? Some have said it is a feeling that you know, but lets look in Acts 2 when people first received the gift of the Holy Ghost...  " 1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. " (Acts 2:1-4)  Every time someone gets the Holy Ghost they speak in other tongues.

Okay now your probably thinking. All that happened a long time ago so it is not for me. But that's where your wrong. In Acts 2:39 it says " 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call."

This promise of God's love is for everyone, the question is
ARE YOU READY TO EXCEPT GOD"S LOVE?

Undiscrible Joy

Everyone longs to be happy, every person that I've met so far has been in a search for true happiness a joy that is theirs. For a long time I was in search for joy and I found it after years of looking, what I found it was right in front of me. I looked toward many things to find happiness but none of them filled the hole in my heart that was out looking. I turned to music at one time, acting, art, even at one sports (which I am no longer good at) but nothing very filled that desire. Those things made me feel happy for a moment but none of it really ever lasted it took me to realise what I truly desired . I wanted a joy that would last like many others who search for joy true happiness I had searched in all the wrong places. Where I needed to look was toward Jesus, once I looked there I found the joy that I was looking for.

Nehemiah 8:10

King James Version (KJV)

10Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

The BIG Picture

Have you ever gone through life just focusing on one day at a time then all of a sudden realize you where missing something? I know what this feels like the stress of only seeing a small snapshot of your life when you realy need to see the BIG PICTURE. You get so frusterated and it makes you conserned, you start thinking am what I'm doing now does it matter, does it make a difference, will it impact someones life, or would I be better off giving up? Only seeing a small picture drives me crazy exspecially in life it's the only thing we will see. It's kind of like a puzzle you can only see one piece untill all the pieces are in place, so don't worry if you can't see the Big Picture God has a plan for you and even though you can only see a small piece you have a hope and a future.
  • Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

"11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

  • Jeremiah 29:11  (NIV)

" For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. "

A CALL FOR EVERYONE

THIS IS A CALL TO YOUNG PEOPLE TO STOP PUTTING THE CARES OF THIS WORLD FIRST AND DIG DEEP INTO THE WORD OF GOD AND READ FOR OURSELVES THE TRUTH OF HIS WORD.
John 14:6
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Goldfish Shock

I was in a place where they sold pet fish my little sister was looking at them and crying because of what she saw in the Goldfish tank. I expected to see one dead fish as normal, but when I looked into the overcrowded Goldfish tank and I was amazed to see dozens of Goldfish floating around dead! I immediately went to a worker and told them of the situation that was making my sister so upset. That was when I learned about Goldfish shock. Goldfish shock is when a Goldfish is brought to a new place of habitation and looks about it's new surroundings and it's heart goes crazy and it then stops because of the shock of it's new environment and it dies. Sometimes they try to shock the fish back to life by putting them into ice water or warm water then back into normal temperatures but it sadly usually does not work.  Now all of this is rather quite interesting, but where am I getting at? Why did I just explain Goldfish shock? The point is many christian young people also go through Goldfish shock when they go into a new environment. Thousands of young people go to college each year and with each year hundreds of christian young people go into shock and lose their faith. A new place causes trouble and shakes their faith they are no longer protected in the way that secure familiarity of family and friends and the church they grew up in. For people going into college I can only offer advice base your college choice on where you can find fellow believers to help keep you on track, take time in prayer and fasting before you make your decision on where you go to college find someone who will help you pray and don't get stressed out by the many people who provide suggestions on where to go to college and all the other things based on the decision to go to college. Above all pray and fast and take the time to research and above all trust in God that he will help make the decision.

Proverbs 3:5 King James Version (KJV) " 5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."

With God's help we can escape Goldfish shock and instead of becoming like a bunch of dead fish we can grow in faith and show others our faith is not dead and with God he can and will help us through all circumstances. So trust in God and don't be a dead fish.

9/11 September 11

September 11 2001 is a date that sticks in hundreds of Americans minds. The images of the planes crashing into buildings and people crying in the streets just to find out did their loved one make it out alive. I remember that day very foggy I was in school and all of a sudden the teacher said we all had to go upstairs to the chapel (it was a private school held in a basement). We went into the room where everyone sat in front of a television "the second tower has been hit the second tower has been hit!" a frantic news reporter says. The older kids and teens start to cry the teacher brings us outside for recess, the older kids stay with tear filled eyes I know something was wrong. Outside my sister and I got teased when a boy said "you two are the twin towers, and the rest of us are airplanes and we'll run into you! " I did not want to play. A week later we wrote letters to the people who had a lost loved one in the building.
September 11 will be a date no American will ever forget...and for those who lost loved ones I know nothing can make up for their lives, but they will live on in the memories and in the hearts of people everywhere. And to all May God Bless you

Have you ever failed?

Have  you ever been at a time where it seems like no matter what you do and no matter how hard you try everything you do seems to fail. It seems like one failure leads to another and then to another. Well first things first I'll tell you I've had this happen allot lately but after a friend gave me some advice and I learned that allot of people in the Bible failed even though I heard it many times before it never clicked. Check this out Paul before he was converted was a murder, Peter swore and cussed, Moses murdered and had lost his temper on many occasions,  Aaron was rebellious, Abraham failed God seven times, Sarah laughed at God, David fell to immorality, Isaac left the will of God, Job was proud, Rehab was a harlot, Naomi was depressed, Mary Magdalene was a harlot, Elijah lost his faith in God and the list goes on! I wrote down a list like this but with even more people then I wrote next to that list what they where most known for Paul was a great evangelist, Peter preached the message at Pentecost, Moses lead his people out of Egypt, Aaron became the first high priest, Abraham was called God's friend, Sarah God's promise came to her, David a man after God's own heart, Isaac the father of two nations, Job twice blessed, Rehab part of the linage of Jesus, Naomi Ruth's mother in law, Mary Magdalene washed Jesus feet and was the first to see Jesus after he was risen and Elijah was a great prophet.  Now why did all these people go to go from failures to great things this verse will answer this.

Proverbs 24:16

King James Version (KJV)

"For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief."
When you fail don't stay in that state get up and instead of saying oh look I failed again :( say "I may have failed this time but look  at what I've learned! I may have fail but next time I'll succeed!"
We don't always see God's plan for us but no matter how we see it our lives mean so much and our failures may just be God's greatest blessing! So when you fall be sure to rise up again! :)

Joplin

I'm sure that this story of what happened in Joplin Missouri is not new to anyone reading this but just in case it is I'll tell you in the best words I can tell you what happened. May 22, 2011 Joplin met it's most devastating disaster a city of 50,000 people lost 117 people and more where injured and the town was almost completely destroyed. I cannot do anything but ask for others to keep Joplin and the people in that city in prayer.

Psalm 23 (King James Version) "1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."

Hebrews 4:16 (King James Version)

"16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need"

Psalm 33:20 (King James Version)

" 20Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield."

Job 11:18 (King James Version)

"18And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety."

Self-esteem OR God-esteem?

There is a problem with many young people (including me) that takes place and it is called low self-esteem but is it really something we all have to deal with because we all have it? or is it a spiritual battle that is taking place within each one of us? The truth is that our self-esteem is a spiritual battle and what we often make as a mistake is we base our way of thinking more on the way we see ourselves and the way the world sees us. But what if you look at the way God sees us? In Ecclesiastes 3:11 (King James Version) it says"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end." So if God sees us as beautiful when we call ourselves ugly or say things such as I wish that I had her hair or for guys his muscles. What are we saying to God when we dye our hair or wear makeup or even just go tanning or anything else that we do to change the way God made us? When we do these things or say thing such as that we are telling God "Hey! You made a mistake!" when in reality it is us that has made the mistake. Believe me it is not wrong to want to look your best you represent Christ we are his kids we want to show others that we are not slobs in representing him we however need to do that without altering our looks in a way that is not pleasing to God. We all need to take a look at ourselves and say "Hey God made me this way! and I'm glad! I am made in his image and I don't need to listen to the world and what they say is beautiful! God made me and I am beautiful because he said so! I'm going to look at myself the way God sees me and change my self-esteem or world-esteem and change it into God-esteem! Jesus has made me beautiful and nothing can change that!"

THE END OF THE WORLD IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is the day a radio host/ radio preacher Harold Camping predicted that today at six o'clock that the rapture spoken about in the book of Revelation but he is sadly very mistaken.  Revelation 3:3 (King James Version)3"Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee." So for all those who are questioning his prediction there is no way he knows what time Jesus will come back nor will anyone know the hour he takes his followers up in the rapture. There is one thing you can be sure of is that before Jesus does come back there will be great tribulation, and no matter what hour of the day today is the day of salvation.

Revelation 2:10-11 (King James Version)

"10Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
11He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death."

Revelation 6:9-11 (King James Version)

" 9And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled."

CHALLENGE #1

When you finally learn how to let go, you learn how to live a life that is continually following after God. The new life that you find in him is amazing and when you let goof all your problems and give them to God he will take your life and make something beautiful. This is a challenge for anyone who reads this to let go of your problems no matter how big or small to let go of bitterness and take hold of the joy that Jesus has to give you. This challenge is for you! To let go, and trust in the Lord.

What is life to you?

Life is so beautiful, people begin as cute little babies, then before you turn around their in a classroom learning their ABC's then all of a sudden their in high school planning on college or a job, some go on to have families of their own with kids or they just stay single, then they look back and their in their 30's saying where did all that time go, then the kids are moved out and retirement happens then soon death......... Life is short since most of the things that happen can be summed up in a sentence or two. In Wisconsin a 14 year old freshman boy at Brillion high school all of a sudden at a track meet collapsed his the team started CPR right a way and an ambulance was called. Soon after the ambulance arrived and he was taken to the hospital he was pronounced dead. After hearing about this Thursday during school I was shocked because he was so young, it would be like my little sister all of a sudden dying without even knowing why. This can happen to anyone, unknown reasons for death, car accidents, vending machines falling on top on someone, cancer, diseases or just going to bed and never waking up. (you may have heard this hundreds of times but I'm going to say it anyway.) It's time to wake up and realize what life is to you?

James 4:14 (King James Version) "14Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."

Who am I?

Who am I? I pondered this question after our church youth leader had us all write letters to another person in the youth group about ourselves, I started thinking who am I exactly? As I thought about this I wrote down who I think I am and what I am.  WHO AM I? I am a teenager. I am the oldest kid in my family. I am the daughter of my parents. I am a twin. I am a child of the King. I am not of this world. I am adopted into a better life. I am a complex being and no one else is exactly like me. I am unique I have often been called strange or weird. I have my own personalty. I am learning to love, forgive and turn the other cheek. I am a person with more flaws then you can count. I am undeserving of forgiveness yet I am forgiven only by Jesus' grace. I am me. A child of the King.

SEA TURTLES; What do you choose?

Sea turtles are one of God's most amazing creatures! Their born in the sand emerging out of their eggs and head straight for the sea, there the young turtles struggle to survive with the many dangers like fish and other predators, which they constantly have to face throughout their lives until they are grown and the dangers lessen. So why don't the turtles stay on the beach where there is less danger and more safety? Do they know of the dangers that await them in the sea? The young turtles do not know danger nor do they stay on the beach where it is safe because if they stay too long on the beach danger lies where it seems to be the most safe, you see if they do not leave they with shrivel up and die. They have to face the danger in order to live, they take the risk of the sea and only a few make it nevertheless they answer the call of the sea. Like Sea turtles  each person has to make the decision to serve God and face the trials and problems this world throws at us, to face persecution or act like the world and stay where it is "safe". Many people hear God calling reaching out to them, some answer the call and fewer make it.
Matthew 20:16 (King James Version)                                                                                                                              "16So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen."
WILL YOU ANSWER THE CALL JESUS HAS FOR YOU?

Witnessing: Am I supposed to witness?

If you are asking these questions here are some verse that might answer your questions.                       Am I supposed to be a witness?                                                                                   Acts 1:8 (King James Version)
"8But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
Everyone who believes in Jesus and follows him will witness.
How can I improve the way I                 witness?                                                                                                                                               2 Timothy 2:15 (King James Version)                                                                                                 "15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
What does witnessing show others?                                               James 2:20 (King James Version) "20But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?"     So if you have faith in Jesus you will witness.                                                                                                                               Who do I witness to?                                                                                                            Acts 1:8 (King James Version)

"8But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth"                                                                                                                                                       So if we're supposed to witness to the uttermost part of the earth who do we witness to? The answers is everyone.

How Not To Witness.

Two funny videos I found on You Tube on how not to witness.

Witnessing: what is a witness?

So many people do not understand witnessing is, so what is a witness? witnessing is more then knocking on doors, teaching a Bible study and telling others about Jesus. It's true all those are different ways to witness but I'm going to tell you about an even better way to be a witness by living out a daily walk with God, living the way God wants you to. Being a witness by living out the way God want us to effects the way you talk, the way you dress, the places you go down to the way you think and the people you spend the most time with. If you swear, drink, do drugs or dress inappropriate or spend most of your time with people who do such things your witness of how Jesus changed your life will not be affective and others will not even want to know who he is. So by obeying Jesus' word and living up to your witness is the best way to be a witness. The second best is by telling others what God has done for you and it can be as easy as telling your friends about a new music group that you think is awesome. Basically a witness is telling someone what you've seen, heard or experienced of what God has done for you or someone else.

Silent Cry

In this world there is a silent cry that keeps getting louder as time flies by the depths of despair are getting deeper. The times are becoming more and more evident as the silent cries scream and yell, asking for an answer. The ones lost in the wilderness are looking to find their way home, as their silent cries draught out over the hills and valleys. There are ones lost in a sea of darkness, wanting, longing their silent cries weep for the true light. Some are lost in the cold, they cry out for warmth. The unwanted for someone to want them; the unloved for someone to love them. The depressed cry out for an unending joy. Ones down in their circumstances with no hope, cry for a hope that they have never known. The suicidal long for someone to care enough to show them a different way out of their troubles. The alcoholic and druggist for a way to stop and sooth their pain. Will They Find What Their CRYING FOR ONLY YOU CAN TELL LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE  AS A GUIDENCE to help them find the way.
WILL YOU ANSWER THEIR SILENT CRY?

Philippians 2:15 (King James Version)

 15That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

11/11 CRAZY LOVE: conclusion.

This marks the end of a great journey on what love truly means and also ways we can learn to love others as we do ourselves. At the beginning I thought I knew a lot and I soon came to find out that I knew nothing, now I know little and I will continue to learn what love is about. I thought I knew what God's love was and now I know it's impossible to know completely but I will continue to learn and continue to love, for God's love heals all wounds.

1 Corinthians 13 (King James Version)

1 Corinthians 13

1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
 5Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
 6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

John 15:13 (King James Version)

13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

John 3:16 (King James Version)

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

10/11 CRAZY LOVE: what does love mean to you?

This is an interview question taken by my youngest two siblings that answers the question, what does love mean to you?
SAM age7: "Ah... chocolate, and a bucket of flowers and a teddy bear and God showing his love to us."
EMMA-LEE age 91/2: "I think it means true love, best friends and courage like you know how people have their best friend and I think it's about... love you know. It's more like most of it's about marriage. I think... am mm... there's more to it like love birds, how they can make a heart, loving, caring knowing and it's about did I say courage... It's about best friends, and all that a boy being in love with you, like at senior prom in the same class as you and you felt the true love that's love"

9/11 CRAZY LOVE: love likes.

This kind of love is the liking of objects like foods, goods, TV's, hair things, music, books sports, art and more. This kind of love is fine by itself but if it becomes more important to you then things that really matter like friends, family and God it becomes a problem. It slowly wains on your heart until it's what your thoughts become, what you become it drags on the people who are around you, soon people don't want to be around you and they start getting fed up. Your pompous attitude makes many people hate you and dislike you and this continues until there's nothing more important to you than that thing that started as a like and becomes an idol to you and there's almost no way out right? Wrong there is a way out and the best thing to do is abstain from that thing for a year then or longer until you can control yourself or give it up completely and give yourself fully to God and the rest of the important people and things in life will follow.

1 Corinthians 13:4 (King James Version)

4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

1 Corinthians 13:4 (New King James Version)

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

8/11 CRAZY LOVE: the love between a child and parent.

The love between a child and parent is a love that is a bond full of patience on both sides, respect, care and allot more patience. When it comes to the love parents you have to understand there is both a maternal and paternal side to love. Maternal is the loving care of a mother to her child or children and paternal is a father's loving care to his child or children. A mother's love is more gentle, and constantly worrisome about the whereabouts of her children where  a father is tougher, plays with them and teaches them valuable life lessons. In the Bible Ephesians 6:1-4 it talks about love of both parents and the children. "
1Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
 2Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." It talks about the love a child has for their parents through honoring the parents and the love of their parents through the act of not provoking their children to anger.

7/11 CRAZY LOVE: love of enemies.

LOVE OF ENEMIES!!! you must think I'm crazy!!! Maybe you read the title wrong, but no that's what I wrote. The love of enemies is when you love the very people who oppose you and stab you in the back. Impossible to love your enemies you say, believe it or not it is not but it is possible to love your enemies. This takes allot of practice believe me I know, I've been bullied before and I've been the actual bully before. At my high school I was outside with my friends when a bully came up to me and tried to punch me for some comment I had said, so of course I ducked and I took off running with the bully right behind me yelling saying I'm going to kill you. Soon the bully gave up and said "I give up.". So I turned around and walked straight up to the bully and said "Hi my name is Kaitlin what's yours". She laughed and throughout the year we became friends and she actually stopped bullying and it was all from turning the other cheek and showed her love. I've had many enemies and bullies who I pray for and always try to say nice things about them to show them God's love. When I was young I was a bully I could beat up a teen at age eight and I really didn't like too many people, but there was a boy who refused to fight with me. I first learned about God's love and turning the other cheek from that boy, he showed me God's love that eventually helped me to stop bullying at age 12.
Matthew 5:44-45 "44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;  45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust."

6/11 CRAZY LOVE: love of people.

A love of people is when you love people. They can be of blood relation, friends anyone who you see on the street. This is a hard love to learn because of all the hate in the world but it is not impossible to have. The love of people is basically to like, be patient, enjoy being around and caring for people. It is to love everyone in John 15:12 it says "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.". Now the greatest example of loving everyone would be Jesus' love for all of us that he died on a cross and rose from the grave so we would be able to be saved, but I'm going to give you another example. The church bus driver they work behind the scenes often having to calm down rowdy kids, their often unappreciated with hardly ever getting a single thank you, they have to keep the bus clean and make sure everything runs on time. Yet they are continually caring, counseling, a friend to all who ride and they show the love of God through their patience and their smile that on a Sunday morning seems to say "good morning, Jesus loves you." that's truly shows the love of people.

5/11 CRAZY LOVE: love of God and love for God.

In this post I will be talking about the love of God and our love for God. The love of God is different and alike all the kinds of love it is different because he's the only one who loves completely unconditional and it's alike because God's love follows all of the requirements of all the types of love. I put God's love in the middle of these posts called crazy love because God's love is in the center of all love for God is love, 1John 4:8 "He that loveth not knowth not God; for God is love." Now think of this God has so much love that he came down to this earth as a baby going thorough all the pains and troubles that we go through and then even dying on the cross to save us from our sins that we might have eternal life in heaven but he did not stay dead he rose again so that through him we would have a new life. That is not the end of his love he sent his spirit the Holy Ghost to live inside of us that we can be saved that he can live inside of us and to let us know we are his. He loves us so much he wants to have a relationship with us, he cares for us, gives us a new life a new beginning, he's our Father, our Friend, our Savior and our King of kings. Jesus is always there for us loving us more then we could ever imagine so much that he gave us the choice to on whether we love him or not that's how much he loves us. Now our love for God is never the same amount as he loves us because his love surpasses all. To love is to know God and to love others is to love God.

Love is art and qoutes

3/11 CRAZY LOVE!; Love Between Siblings.

Love between  siblings is different then the average love between friends because siblings are related to you and you'll have that connection with them your whole life. I know allot about love between siblings because I have what some people call allot of siblings but I call normal, now that you're probably wondering just how many siblings I have so I'll tell you I am one in six kids. Sure that may not be allot to some people but with the average family having 2-3 kids, 6 is allot.   The love between siblings is patient, kind, caring and most of all it is forgiving. For this kind of love I'll be telling a story that most people have heard or read it is true and also found in Genesis37-45. This is a true event about a young man and his 11 siblings and his love for his family through his patience, kindness, caring for them and also forgiveness. The young man had a couple dreams in which he told his brothers that made them angry and the young man was also his father's favorite out of his 11 brothers which made the brothers even more jealous. The 9 brothers were all out in the fields(they were shepherds) when they saw the young man coming, they at first wanted to kill him, then they decided to throw him in a pit, after they had thrown him in one of the older brothers left for a few hours. During that time the brothers left in the fields saw a traveling caravan and decided to sell their brother who was in the pit as a slave. Now years latter the young man had gone through many different things he went through being a slave, being convicted of a crime he had not committed, being in jail to second in command in the country he was in. In time there was a famine in the land and the young man who had been thrown in the pit years earlier was selling food, when his 10 brothers that had thrown him in the pit came to buy food. When he saw them he know who they where right away but they did not recognize who he was, so he decided to test them to see if they changed. At the end of the test he finally told his brothers who he was and forgave them and he also had them and the whole family move into the country and made sure they had everything they needed to live through the famine and after. This is the love between siblings.

4/11 CRAZY LOVE: the love between a husband and wife.

The love between a husband and wife is both a relationship that is both of a friend and of an intimate relationship. It is a love that is loyal through all circumstances including if a spouse has been unfaithful, it is understanding the other, sticking by each other wanting to please the other, care for one another and sharing with each other. In marriage their is a love that goes deeper then a friend because there's an intimacy that can only be shared between a husband and a wife in 1 Corinthians 7:1-24 it talks allot about the relationship between spouses, I'll let you find that and if your married and want to know more read the book of Song of Solomon. I'll tell you this I do not know too much on this subject, but I've seen enough marriages that I know small things that make marriages work, here is 5 for more read 1 Corinthians 7:1-4. 1) They communicate. 2) They are crazy about each other. 3) They work with each other through their problems. 4) They share responsibilities. 5)(this is the most important) They both love God.  All of  these things are because of love and show the love between a husband and a wife. Genesis 2: 24 " Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall become one flesh."

A Thoughtfull Question:

A leader is shown by the small things they do in life not the big...

2/11 CRAZY LOVE!: Love Between Friends.

Before I go into love between friends I want to first define what a friend is. A friend is someone you care about or spend volunteered time with that is or is not of blood relation; someone you like to spend time with. In Proverbs17:17 it says "A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." Now this verse does not mean you and you friends will always be BFF's (Best Friends Forever!) at all times or that you and your friends will never be in a disagreement, or that your friend will never leave you, it just means a friend will love always, now this love is a loyalty to one another, so love between friends is loyal. In Proverbs18:24 it refers to the loyalty of a friend "A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer then a brother." A thing that all friends share is a love for one another, the love is tender, fond, kind and benevolent. A friend spends time with you not out of necessity or because their being forced to spend time with another, but because they want too. A friend is one who laughs with you feels compassionate with you, crys with you at times and should be cherished because you never know how much time you have with a friend. In the book "Anne of Green Gables" by L. M. Montgomery (pg 131-132) Anne and her friend Dianna after a terrible accident are no longer allowed to see each other, they made a promise to always remain friends to each other no matter where they go. They are latter reunited a few chapters latter remaining as loyal to each other in their friendship as the day they made the promise, as they will always remain "bosom friends.".  Their friendship reminded me of a friendship in the Bible 1Samuel 20 between David and Jonathan. Now David's life was in danger and Jonathan's father King Saul was the one who wanted to kill him, so to find out if David would be safe remaining in the kingdom they made a plan between themselves to find out. Now the plan was that Jonathan would tell his father that David went on a trip to sacrifice with his family in Bethlehem and if his father showed any anger or said anything of the sort Jonathan would warn David by sending three arrows into a field and by telling a servant boy the arrow "was still ahead" but if it was safe Jonathan would say the arrows are on "the side of him." The sad part is that Jonathan had to deliver the news and it was that David needed to flee, but before the friends left each other they made a promise to never let any harm come to each other and between their children and any other family that follows forever, and then they departed. That was one of the last times those faithful friends saw each other, but even after Jonathan's death David stayed true to their promise, by taking Jonathan's only surviving son Mephibosheth (2Samuel 9:1-13) by taking him in to live in his palace as one of his own sons. In John15:13 Jesus says "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." this is the love between friends. John14:34 "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another."

1/11 CRAZY LOVE; Introduction

Love what is love?
The whole month of February is national love month and it is also the month that has the holiday valentines day which is a whole day just for celebrating love, but even with a whole month celebrating love how come not many people really know what love is? I'm not talking about the "I love pizza" love or the "I really love that sweater" love, but true love. In this and the 11 following posts I hope to explain what love is and let you discover what kind of love is true love.
True love is a crazy love that is sometimes really hard to understand, so the best way to start out will be with a few definitions on what love is.
1. a fond or tender feeling.
2.a strong or passionate affection for a person of the opposite gender.
3.a strong liking.
4.a person who is loved.
5.a kind or benevolence for someone.
6.a reverent devotion.
Now that you've seen the definitions of love we'll go more into dept with what each one of these definitions mean.
1. Love is a fond or tender feeling.
Being fond is showing love by showing affection in some way such as romance or in loyalty towards someone. Now tenderness has a few different definitions. The first is pain, love often inflicts pain in the heart, as in a break up between boyfriend and girlfriend, but also in sympathy when a loved one is sick or battling something such as cancer, or the pain you feel when your loved one is hurting in a physical or spiritual sense such as a broken leg or going through a spiritual trial.  The second is gratifying to the touch or such as gentleness, like the comforting words, or a husband kissing his wife or to comfort someone when their sick or in pain. When a little kid falls down and scraps their knee the child's mother runs to comfort the child with soothing words and often a bandage to help the kid through the pain and why does the mother do this? because she loves the child. The last thing in this definition of love is love through submission as a loyalty to another then yourself, or in other words completely giving yourself over to something or someone such as giving yourself over to God, submission is not because of weakness but because of complete love.

2.Love is a strong passionate affection for a person of the opposite gender.
This is a kind of love a husband and wife feel towards one another or an engaged to get married couple feels towards each other. It is a deep emotion of tender devotion of love mixed with friendly qualities towards each other with controlled emotions.

3.Love is a strong liking.
This is a kind of love you can have towards anyone, for a boyfriend and girlfriend it is a fond attraction between comparable or similar pleasures, or a man or boy trying to persuade a girl that he likes to be his girlfriend. In other cases it is taking pleasure by enjoying or preferring a particular inanimate object, like music, a certian type of food, to favor something more over another. The last would be the grace of God that he shows in high concentration which is favor; which is something what Christians need to be an example of by showing grace towards all, which shows Jesus' love for us all.

4.Love is a person who is loved.
This is normally a nickname for someone who is in love, but it really something every person can be called. In a marriage a love is both husband and wife with the relationship they share. Now the category every person falls under is in Christ Jesus for he loves us all, so we also are his love his beloved. John3:16-17 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

5.Love is a kind feeling or benevolence for something.
This kind of love is an undeserving love, a selfless love where often one will give up their own likings or preferences for the one they love; like someone who's married giving up a type of food they like because their spouse doesn't like it or is allergic to it, or someone giving up old habits for the one they love like squeezing the tube of toothpaste at the top instead of in the middle, or giving up something that is unpleasing to God like sin. Another definition for this kind of love is a kind sensation or emotion, an openness towards others or being transparent towards others, or in other words being real with others, to show who you really are, not pretending. Another definition of this kind of love is dedication to the welfare of others; or in other words being generous of charitable, it is voluntary and kind and full of forgiveness, wanting others to have the emotion of happiness. By being charitable, it is not for self profit nor for the thrill of being charitable, but it is selfless love. When Jesus went to the cross he had such a dedication for the welfare of me and you, that he selflessly gave himself openly to forgive us so we could one day have the benefit of Heaven and seeking his face, that we did not pay for, but Jesus paid for us with his life, he could have easily got down from the cross but he loved us so much, he had and still does have selfless love and is willing to share his home with all of us.

6.Love is a reverent devotion.
Being reverently devoted is a love that is based on commitment and loyalty to someone. This love also has many different definitions like many of the other kinds. The first is a love for your home country, by being loyal having a dedication to your country by pledging your allegiance or by having patriotism. Another definition of this love is in marriage, it is an adoring fond affection towards a spouse, it is observant continually wanting to learn more about each other;   committed, loyal, steadfast, through thick and thin; it is trusting in each others dedication to one another, that couples make on their wedding day as they say their vows to stick together no matter what. The last kind is the devotion one has for God, having a relationship with him through prayer, worship, and listening to what he has to say, it is being a committed disciple or an apostle continually being committed, affectionate, trusting and wanting to know more about him as he wants to know more about me and you.

                                          1 Corinthians13:1-13
"1  Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2  And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and knowledge, and though I have faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3  And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have
not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 4  Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth
not itself, is not puffed up, 5  Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked
thinketh no evil, 6  Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7  Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth  all things, endureth all things. 8  Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail, whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9  For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10  But when which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11  When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12  For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13  And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."

February national love month.

It is February and national love month so with valentines coming up and this being national love month I thought it would be appropriate for the next few upcoming articles on this blog to be about love. Now throughout this month I'll be posting a lot of things on love from art work to articles and don't forget to leave comments I would like to know what you think of them so I hope you enjoy the articles to come. :)

Be Bold And Speak Up!

I choose the title Be Bold And Speak Up as the name of my blog first because it sounded like a name that I would remember and it sounded kind of cool. Another reason for this title is the verse 1 John 4:17 where it says "Here in our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world." The word boldness stood out to me in this verse and I started thinking what if there was a blog about being bold and speaking up on issues and things many people take for granted. So I decided to make this blog to be bold by trying my best to show the love that Jesus shows me and to speak up on different things such as social issues, music, games, videos, the Bible, art and random things along the way that may or may not be interesting. So I hope you enjoy this blog Be Bold And Speak Up. :)
